The Center for Educational Development is the premiere K-12 staff development organization in the United States.  We specialize in literacy and English as a second language issues for teachers and administrators.

Our Workshops

Our workshops are conducted by experienced in-service providers who are also leading researchers and presenters in their field of expertise.  We also provide graduate credit through Chapman University for those interested.

Presenter Spotlight

Dr. Jeff McQuillan is one of the country's most outstanding presenters on the topic of helping struggling readers in grades 5-12.  His workshops have received among the highest participant evaluation ratings in the United States.  His one day workshop, "Bringing Struggling Readers up to Grade Level: Effective Strategies for Middle and High School Teachers," has been presented to over 3,000 teachers in the past 5 years in more than 30 cities across the United States.  The Center is now booking Dr. McQuillan's workshops for the the current and upcoming school year.  To learn more or to schedule Dr. McQuillan's presentation, please visit our workshop section.
